She's BA-ACK!! The precious baby girl in the hat below - remember her?? And her momma - can you see why she's so beautiful? The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, huh? I had an absolute BLAST taking pictures of these two. It was painless and fun, (...as ALL my sessions are, plug-plug), but I knew before I even looked at the pictures that they'd be beautiful. It's been a whirlwind friendship, but I feel like I've known this little family for years. The sweet momma lives below us in our condo, and I wish we could stay longer, if only for her! She is a sweetheart woman, but her family is just as precious. Check them out! Looking at them, I just want to jump in the photo ~ they are so much fun!

Headed down a new road | Phoenix Maternity Photography

Oh my goodness, how I LOVE maternity photos. I could do these all day and not look up at my watch. The anticipation, the love ...and the belly! Now, is she beautiful or what? These two have been married for two years and are expecting their first child April 24. They haven't found out what the sex is, so we just had a blast concentrating on them and their excitement. They're going down this new road together, and they are ready! Congratulations, you two ~ it was a real treat!

SERIOUSLY, where have I been, right!?! I fell off the face of the earth, blog-wise, around Christmas. You know you can't post Christmas pics on a blog - they are full of wonderful pics soon to be displayed on Christmas cards...no peeking allowed. So, for sure, a NO-NO. After that, I only had a session here and there as I prepared to pack us up for our upcoming move. Now that we're here and settled a bit, I'm hopping and need to catch up quickly!

The above pic is my latest favorite. She's a precious 8 month old girl, and when I close my eyes, I still see her sweet rolls and beautiful eyes. Makes me smile! My son had rolls almost as fantastic as those, but he's since leaned out. That, my friends, is why we have pictures! I almost can't even picture him as a chubby baby, but I have wonderful proof in the pictures we took over his first year.

I promise to be back to blogging soon. I've had 4 mini-sessions, just this week, so I have a lot of cute faces with stories to tell. You think this little baby is cute, well, she's just one of them! Until then, just soak up this precious little girl! More to come, I promise!

I know it's cliche', but Don't they grow up so fast?!! You may recognize this little guy from his newborn pics, then some pics later in his babyhood that we took a few months ago. Look at him now!! Marcus is 5 months old, learning to sit up, laughing and smiling like crazy...I just can't believe this is the same newborn I photographed! This is why it's so important to take these pictures - Chronicling this time will save these memories for years to come! What a great day!

Littlest Fans | Tuscaloosa, AL Cuties

Can you believe these two? This was a SPECIAL privilege of mine. Their momma is actually my best friend from college. I LOVE them, but I know that I'm not biased when I say that they are precious! We had a blast taking these shots - these are just a few lightly edited straight from our session. It's a good thing I'm a "candid" photographer because posing with little ones is definitely out of the question. We just played...with a camera!
