Lately, I've been branching out, trying my hand at some sports photography. I tend to take a more artistic approach than the usual "team picture", but I think I'd be up for doing that, too. This session was primarily baseball, but I just finished up a swim session this week as well. I think it's so cool to catch things in motion - the ball off the bat, a splash during a stroke. It's amazing what abilities God has blessed us with, don't you think? Even from a young age, we are capable of so much! Hopefully, there will be much more sports photography to come!

Can I just say that this was the EASIEST duo I've ever photographed? Usually I have to take many many photos, just to assure myself I have a keeper, but after just one or two per setting, I knew I had a good one of these two. They are definitely the winners of "the least # of images on my camera after a session". You'd never know, though, right? Precious! Enjoy :)

Well, I'm finally getting this caught up! What a fantastic month we've had, and it's been FULL of fantastic sessions that I can't wait to blog about. This one was in Durham, and I LOVED having the opportunity to photograph this mother with her boys. Is there anything more loving than a momma's love? Enjoy the pics!

Jamie Cormier, where have you been, right?! Seriously, it's been a month since I've put a new post on here, and I have to say, I MISS IT!!! In this past month, we have made a cross-country move and settled into a new city here on the east coast. Because of this move, and all the others, photography business has been slow. After being so busy this spring, I am missing it terribly. But, hey, what this family does as one, we do together - big moves and all. My favorite thing about relocating, though, is that I get to meet new people and sometimes even capture their world, and their surroundings, (new to me), through my lens. So, who's next, Durham, NC? I'm settled and ready to shoot your love with my lens!

Is there anything, ANYTHING, sweeter than a newborn baby? Think hard. I'm just not sure there's anything that competes! This little girl warmed my heart and filled me up! I am so grateful I was able to capture these precious moments. Enjoy!

You may recognize sweet Allie from her earlier session, (picture precious strawberry hat, most beautiful baby girl...yeah, that's her). Well, I was lucky enough to fit in a family session before we left Sprint Training in Arizona, and I'm so glad we did. What a precious little family!! Enjoy!

Do these sweet people look familiar? These are some friends from Tampa, well...and from Alabama.. just great heart buddies. They may like Auburn, but we still like them anyway! Ha! They have 2 precious babies under the age of 3, and they are both beautiful. Like models. I don't have to tell you about it, just look at the pictures - they speak for themselves! I LOVE the "family portrait" of all of them. Daddy's too sick to do pics, was just bringing baby brother to the park. The only way that sweet girl would kiss baby brother is if afore-mentioned sick dad held her upside down by her ankles...while Momma smiles on. Is that life, or what? A Beautiful life! Thanks again you guys - I would have driven hours just to hug your necks!
